Climate Informatics 2025
Co-Hosted by IBM Research Brazil and the School of Applied Mathematics at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV EMAp), in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from April 28 to 30, 2025.
We are delighted to announce that the 14th International Conference on Climate Informatics (CI2025) will convene in Brazil, marking the first occasion this conference series is hosted in the Global South. This milestone underscores our commitment to fostering a more inclusive dialogue on climate informatics.
CI2025 will maintain its intimate and engaging format, featuring keynote addresses, panel discussions, lightning talks, poster sessions, and ample opportunities for networking. Our agenda will encompass both emerging topics and overarching themes pertinent to the interface between climate sciences and data science, aiming to stimulate insightful discussions and collaborations.
Recognizing the importance of inclusivity and environmental responsibility, CI2025 will keep adopting a hybrid model, facilitating both in-person and virtual participation. We are dedicated to ensuring that all attendees, regardless of location, have a rewarding and enriching experience.
We extend a warm invitation to researchers, practitioners, and students from diverse disciplines to join us in Brazil for CI2025. Together, we can advance the field of climate informatics and contribute to a deeper understanding of our planet’s climate system.
