Tristan Ballard is a Senior Data Scientist at Sust Global, where he develops AI models for climate and weather forecasting across timescales—from hours to decades. His work supports business-critical applications in financial risk, insurance, and supply chain resilience. Tristan’s research spans generative AI, agentic AI, and geospatial modeling, with publications in top venues including Science, PNAS, NeurIPS, and ICLR. He holds a PhD in Earth Systems and an MS in Statistics from Stanford University, and a BS in Statistics from Duke. His patented innovations leverage deep learning, probabilistic methods, and scalable geospatial pipelines on cloud platforms.
