Completed advanced studies in Instructional Leadership and Media and Technology for Education from Harvard University with a PhD in Biotechnology and a Master’s in Environmental Sciences. Led groundbreaking research in renewable energy, developing Brazil’s first industrial-scale sweet potato ethanol plant with a 3,000-liter daily capacity, a project that significantly contributed to the field and was recognized with the Copesul Braskem Environmental Responsibility Award. His transdisciplinary approach integrates biotechnology, environmental sciences, and educational technologies, creating innovative frameworks at the intersection of climate science and artificial intelligence. His leadership in pedagogical innovation is evident in projects like the AUDI-GPTedu project, which applies AI to educational assessment using Bloom’s Taxonomy, and the PROMPT-EDU framework for optimizing AI in teaching-learning processes. Serves as an editorial board member for scientific journals, including the Brazilian Journal of Agroindustrial Technology, and has expertise in instructional design, data analytics, and bioprocesses. His work bridges technological innovation with environmental sustainability, creating solutions that address climate challenges through scientific advancement and social impact.
